Join us at Hornsea Village for a weekend celebrating local artists!

In collaboration with Hornsea Collective, our Open Studio Event invites you to explore the work of local artists and creators.

Throughout the weekend, units across the village will be open for visitors to meet the artists, watch live demonstrations, and discover unique artworks available for purchase. From painting and ceramics to textiles and mixed media, this is a wonderful opportunity to see the creative process up close and take home something truly special if it catches your eye!

Catherine Rawson – Mixed Media Artist

Catherine will be demonstrating her knitting techniques throughout the weekend, sharing the story and ethos behind The Old Railway UK. She transforms waste textiles into bespoke clothing, combining sustainability with creativity.

Sue Kent – Mixed Media Artist
Sue is a local photographer based in Brandesburton, capturing landscapes, trees, and urban details with a keen eye for composition and light. Her work celebrates the beauty of her surroundings and is available as prints and photo cards.

Valerie Wood – Jewellery Designer

Valerie creates handmade recycled sterling silver jewellery and semi-precious gemstone designs. At the event, she’ll be demonstrating her process by finishing soldered rings at her stall — filing, shaping, hammering, and polishing each piece by hand.
